OMGZ, I can't wait to listen tonight. I actually paused my paid Patti substack for a while, because she's so incredibly prolific a blogger, and I have been insanely busy to read more than her free posts. But think how nice it will be this summer... I will glory in all my Patti posts, with Patti singing in the background. There are few people on earth [whom I 've never met] whom I love as much as Patti Smith. Thank you Jami!

I saw her twice, too -- once at The Gorge (opening for Neil Young) and once reading from M Train in D.C. (and she played a few songs at the end, which was a nice treat).
